The most important of these is that the Japanese manga market for digital manga reached 342 billion yen, accounting for 55% of the total manga sales, making it the most oversized format in the manga market. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” is the most popular manga in 2020. Its popularity and increased entertainment demand caused by the covid-19 pandemic will significantly promote the 2020 market.

The Japanese manga market consists of printed manga books, printed manga magazines, and digital manga, including digitally published manga magazines.
